Karachi needs Trees; Green Karachi

So what’s trending today on social media? It’s a campaign by social media users i.e. #Karachineedstrees. This being one of the most heartwarming thing I’ve seen because people are raising voices not for or against each other but they are all standing together for ecology.
We have always seen LHRvKHI bashing going on and people enjoing the memes like anything. But considering the seriousness of issue, people have devoted that tweets for raising voice to make Karachi’s environment better by planting trees.
Let’s show you how people are raising their concerns for Karachi and how they suggest to combat global warming as well.
But before that, I would like to acknowledge all those whose posts I’m putting in my post as their tweets are gathered together to show the government what citizens actually need atm.
Here’s the timing perspective of planting trees, & I must say it absolutely makes sense

Well yes. It’s you who can make the difference. It’s you who can bring positive change

“Are these the things we want to leave for our generations to come?”

“Without oxygen we’re dead” & without trees, we see people dying - isn’t it one sad reality!

We know what to do. Why don’t we just start acting on it. It shouldn’t be taken as a joke

It won’t just benefit the living but will also be in your kind deeds forever. It’s a charity & charity begins at home. Let’s take the initiative. Let’s plant trees in Karachi

Not just you girl. This makes all of us sad. Forget what others do or don’t do. Let’s plant tree where we can to show how much we care

I hope Karachi remains as charming as it’s always have been. Let’s make the city a beautiful place

What a meaningful comparison. We want Karachi green again. Period.

Purest form of charity, I believe. Purest!

That’s how people are raising voice to see Karachi green again. Let’s just forget whether government does or not. Let’s do it ourselves.
One individual planting one tree making Karachi green.
Hope we will become the change we want to see.
